This undergarment has worked very effectively for me. The performance of any product however is based on how it's used. This is my situation. I'm 52, in reasonbly good shape but have a stubborn 5 pounds that has settled in around the middle and I no longer have good muscle tone in the abs. The result is my dress pants will not stay in place at the proper line on my waist, just below the belly button. They slide down unless my belt is so tight it looks rediculous. When my pants slide down under the belly, my shirt doesn't stay tucked and I look rumpled and unkept.
