Overall the garment is well made, but after wearing it, it certainly isn't as comfortable as others have claimed. It is very restrictive, as I am sure anyone would understand....if you are pushing in a lot of "stuff, fat...etc...", well...it doesn't just disappear, right? So...the stuff is just squished in, not gone. It does give back support, and it did smooth my tummy a bit (not as much as the claims state...) I would have to say that the smoothing in the tummy area was the same as a good pair of support pantyhose (like sheer energy), but much more uncomfortable....
