While I'm aware that "real" corsets run in the hundreds, there was nothing but satin paneling and a flimsy under paneling to make this cinch and it looks cheap even for the price. It also has the little round eyelets running around the edges that underwear has, you can't see that in the picture and I'm not very fond of that part of the design personally as it makes it look more like a big bra and less like a *corset.*
I'm glad I wasn't planning on using the g-string, because the fabric that is made out of is down right uncomfortable. I just threw that away.
The fit was fine, if anything a bit big. The corset was alright for my purpose, or I thought so until I wore it once, to the party I bought if for, and the satin part came out from the boning. One of the reasons why I had bought a corset as a part of my outfit was so I could reuse it with other outfits - and now that's not an option. Even if I get it fixed it won't look as nice or be able to cinch as well (not that it could cinch that great before).
